- At-seat power outlets for laptops.
- Quiet Car:
- Coach seating.
- No cell phone use or loud conversations.
- Service is available only Monday through Friday.
- Cafe Car -- Sandwiches, snacks, and beverages.
- Trails and Rails Program -- In a cooperative effort with
the National Park Service, volunteer rangers provide a narrative

- Smoking -- Smoking is not permitted on these trains.

The Ethan Allen Express and Vermonter
are financed primarily through funds made available by the Vermont State
Department of Transportation. State supported trains are operated at
the discretion of each state and their operation is dependent upon
continued state financial support.
The Ethan Allen Express provides
service between New York and Rutland, VT.
